The seat cushion is the interface between people and their wheelchairs. The process of selecting the right seat cushion should be carried out just as carefully as the decision of which wheelchair to use.

Our innovative categories of seat cushions—Floam, Terra, and Comfort—offer a high level of posture support as well as comfort, and can help prevent pressure points and pressure sores.

Users have different requirements when it comes to reducing shear forces, microclimate regulation, postural stability, posture management, damping and pressure redistribution. These requirements determine whether the seat cushion should be filled with foam, air or gel.

Floam seat cushions

The Cloud, Advantage and Z-Flo cushions in the Floam category feature a liquid-like material that ensures even pressure redistribution and custom adaptation to various postures.

Terra seat cushions

Based on over 50 years of expertise in foam materials, the Terra cushions (Terra Flair, Terra Aquos and Terra) represent a high-quality solution for extended sitting, outstanding pressure redistribution and stability. These aspects result in improved absorption of impacts and vibrations.

Comfort seat cushions

The Comfort cushions (Evolight, ConturGel and Cubic Foam) offer a high level of stability, pressure redistribution and microclimate regulation thanks to the use of high-quality materials such as TechnoGel or polyurethane. This makes them particularly suitable for active users.
